Ducato 2.3JTD 2006 Injector(s) problem

Hello everybody,

My old Ducato with 2.3JTD engine (around 84kw) has a problem with injector or injectors. Engine works good for about 5, 10 or 20 kilometers, but sometimes it falls into emergency mode and I have to restart the vehicle. The problem is that the diagnostic software I use can't see errors in ecu. Ducato has new turbo and the engine has around 480 000km.
Please give me an advice if you already had or solved such problem.

What diagnostic software do you have? Maybe it's not reading the errors correctly? You need to log the air volume, fuel pressure, and boost pressure while driving. The car goes into limp mode. Turning the ignition off temporarily resets the system, but the error returns. First, disconnect the air flow meter and do a test drive. If you have power, you've identified the culprit.;-)
