Greetings to everyone from Serbia.
I'm sorry about the English language, but it has to be, because our languages are just a little different that we can't understand each other very well, so it has to be universal.
I have read a lot of useful things here, so I would like to share with you what I have discovered.
I have a non-RVC model and based on my model and a few RVC pictures that I can find on the Internet, I discovered that the difference is only ten euros of parts for a non-RVC to become an RVC model.
In the photos you can see the difference on the printed circuit boards between the models.
Therefore, one IC (10-Bit, SDTV Video Decoder with Differential Inputs) and associated elements are needed.
Now I'm just waiting for the parts to arrive and to solder them (of course I need a little warmer weather than the current one).
The biggest problem is how to tell Uconnect that it will then be an RVC model?
Where is that information stored?
Now (on a nonRVC model) if I try to put in MES that the rear camera is PRESENT, I always get "Out of range" when proxying.
I don't believe that just soldering this IC will change that.
